The Valencia Del Sol Performing Arts & Entertainment Club (PACE) was founded by VDS resident Ira Teich who noted, “In a community of this size, there must be quite a few people here who love to entertain, but just need a venue to showcase their abilities.” 

 

What began in May 2023 as the VDS Performing Arts Club--a group of like-minded people meeting with a common goal of showcasing the creativity of VDS residents led to the first show held the following year.

 

On January 27, 2024, the first PAC Variety Show was held to a standing room only crowd of more than 300 residents and others in the Social Hall at the VDS Clubhouse.  

 

Singers, dancers, musical acts and skits were among the highlights of the event with an enthusiastic audience cheering on their fellow neighbors and friends.  

 

In February 2025, club leadership decided to change the club's name to the VDS Performing Arts & Entertainment Club, reflecting additional offerings like movies, workshops and more to its repertoire of entertainment.

Today, a robust schedule of events are scheduled from October to April offering VDS residents quality shows that supplement the entertainment offerings provided by GRS. 

 

These shows and entertainment offerings provide music, drama, dance and theatre acts and include diverse cultural expression--bringing entertainment from different backgrounds, traditions and perspectives. 

 

Meanwhile, the club continues to grow and evolve as we seek to entertain--and enrich--our great community.  

 

Note: The Club meets every 2nd Thursday of the month in the Social Hall at the clubhouse at 6PM. All are welcome - join us! 

 

About Our Ticket Prices for Shows 

 

The VDS PACE is a startup group, with our first production held in January 2024. There is no membership fee to become a member and we have no additional funding source for our productions.  

 

That’s why, for our shows, we request a nominal donation from residents (usually $5 or $10). This pays for a bar in the room ($100 per bartender) plus radio scripts, production royalties, a Karaoke Song Subscription, audio equipment and props. 

 

In the future, as we build our inventory, we may need a place to store everything—so a small storage unit may be necessary.
